Musical lineup is centered around the mainstream music of Central America,
“Punta Rock.” Punta Rock is the contemporary electronic offshoot of an
ancestral rhythm and dance of the Garifuna people of Central America

messages to develop cultural awareness and to educate. Originality and
culture are the basic principles. Punta Rock is a strong force for the
development of cultural awareness and for strengthening national identity
among all ethnic groups of Central America. For more information about

to traditional Central American foods.” says Sendy Suazo of
Lobaproductions one of the events producers.
This event
features music legends like Omar “Babakle” Suazo and Band and
Mando
Ballesterso and Band.
“There has been extremely successful Punta Rock concerts and
festivals in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Now Boston’s Central
American community has its own special day.” Said Vanessa Kerr-King,
